Compiled by Linda Barker and The Littleport Society, this award-winning book ‘The Changing Face of Agriculture’ examines the changes within farming observed by John Martin of J H Martin and Sons of Littleport – a family of farmers who have lived in Littleport for generations.
Alongside John’s recollections, and many colour photographs, are the memories of former employees; Dennis Phillips, Keith Jackson, Derek Timbers, and Maurice ‘Mo’ Godsmark.
The book won a Local History Book Award from the Cambridgeshire Association for Local History (CALH) in 2026.
